Historical Background Of The Shop
Lastly , the place we went is Pak Yong
Ayam Goreng Kunyit, where it’s located near the Ampang Park LRT station. So,
their strength of their food is their strategic location, where more customers
easily can come and buy their delicious food
there. Even, the shop is newly opened last month, but it has it’s own
significance food ‘ NasiAyam Bakar’which is their main attracting food for their
business , even there are many more other food which is been selling there. They
start to operates from 11.30 a.m to 2 p.m, as they focus on the working people
around the area. Despite their food, their price for the food is quite cheap as
it worth more to be chargable. Hopefully, they can expand their business more

Historical Background of the Product Sold
The historical background of the product sold which is the
toasted chicken piece at Pak Yong’s stall will make everyone go crazy for it !
What is so special with it?? Here you go…
Living in a multi-racial country , where people have
different cultural and religious views on everything, from food to clothing ,
politics and what’s not , chicken is like our answer to unity. Definitely there
wont be people who did not like chicken , especially a toasted chicken with BBQ sauce on top. As diverse as the chicken dishes in Malaysia mimicking the
different cultures of the population , everyone can agree it is the Chinese’s
community food which is chicken rice. But here, at Pak Yong’s stall , it can be
seen that Malays are also coming up with Chicken Rice with different taste.
So , when coming to the preparation of the toasted chicken
piece , the whole grilled-toasted chicken is rubbed with an intense spice paste
and then basted with a tangy honey glaze on the grill for a double dose of
flavor. Its easy to double for a summer BBQ !

This is how it looks during peak time .. Lunch time |
Under Pak Yong’s ayam goreng kunyit , there are 3 types of
meals as below:
~ Nasi + Ayam Goreng = RM 5.00
~ Nasi + Daging Goreng Kunyit = RM 6.00
~ Nasi + Paru Goreng Kunyit = RM 6.00
And Under My Kitchen’s Nasi Ayam got 5 types of meals as
below:
~ Nasi Ayam Bakar + Soup = RM 5.00
~ Nasi Ayam Chicken Thigh + Soup = RM 7.00
~ Nasi Ayam Original + Soup = RM 8.00
~ Nasi Ayam Kampung + Soup = 8.00
~ Nasi Ayam + Lamb
Grill + Soup = RM 8.00
~ Lamb Grill = RM 13.00
The most famous at in this stall is the Nasi + Daging Goreng
Kunyit and the Nasi Ayam Bakar. The reason is definitely because of the price.
The price is really very reasonable which is RM 6.00 and RM 5.00 respectively.
The Daging Goreng
Kunyit is famous because of the various spices in the chicken which is mainly flavoured
of natural turmeric. The meat is marinated with turmeric before being fried ,
makes the meat crunchy and tasty as well.
What about Nasi Ayam Bakar???? This meal is famous because
the chicken is toasted whereas other places we only could get the same type of
chicken which is prepared by boiled or roasted one. The taste of the chicken
become very unique since they toast it. Additional BBQ and black pepper sauce
makes the whole meal more delicious , can say that it is really “ finger
licking good” ..
If you are a food hunter , then this stall will be a good choice !!
Group's opinion
Our opinion is the unique taste of chicken pry our intention
to buy and have it. Normally there wont
be BBQ and black pepper sauce , but here , both sauces really give an extra
point to the whole meal. The price is very reasonable and affordable to be
true. The location of the stall which is just outside the Ampang Park LRT
station makes every people walk along the street to stop and buy the food
before continue to their desired destination. Apart from that , the stall’s
business hour is matched with the items they selling. The items is suitable for
lunch time , thus their business time is definitely perfect for that !
Group's recommendation
Recommendation part will be …… it should be fine if they
provide table and chair , along with shelter to sit and eat. Since they not
provide the facility, customers are only have to take away without not having
there. Few customers will prefer to have it there itself but due to lack of
this facility they might prefer other shops. Other that that , it will be also
good if they open new branches since now it is only one. L More branches , more
famous . That’s all our recommendation for this stall J Otherwise , all is good !
A small video on the process of preparing things to cook and serving customers..Have a look :-)
